Lake Eye Associates

Our firm is proud to showcase our expertise through the development of the Lake Eye Associates project in Wildwood, a testament to our commitment to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing healthcare spaces. The 4.13-acre parcel of land was transformed into a 10,000 SF building, offering Lake Eye Associates an opportunity to expand their practice and provide enhanced services to patients in the Lake County area. Lake Eye Associates was the first development in the Brownwood Medical Plaza, located in The Villages.

Simultaneously, Powell Studio Architecture undertook the design and construction of another Lake Eye Associates facility in Tavares, Florida, showcasing our capability to manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently. These facilities serve as a hub for comprehensive eye healthcare, featuring state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment capabilities. Designed to accommodate two physicians and multiple technicians, the practice efficiently handles approximately 180 patients per day, ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Our design philosophy integrates functionality with aesthetics, creating an environment that not only meets the operational needs of the practice but also reflects a commitment to patient well-being. The Wildwood facility includes a minor surgery procedure room and an optometric dispensary displaying a diverse range of frames, expected to be between 1,000 - 1,500 frames.

In addition to the Lake Eye Associates development, Powell Studio Architecture played a key role in the Sumter Summit Ambulatory Surgery Center shell space within the same building. This space was strategically designed for future surgical practices, reflecting our forward-thinking approach to healthcare architecture.
