Building Blocks Ministries

Building Blocks Ministries is embarking on a transformative project, opening in 2024, to construct a 6,000 square foot facility, strategically designed to enhance their support services for developmentally disabled adults. This purpose-built space aims to facilitate skilled learning, creativity, therapy, and overall personal growth for the individuals under their care.

The facility is a pre-engineered metal building, carefully divided into two phases of services. This thoughtful planning not only addresses the current needs of the clients but also lays the foundation for future growth, ensuring the adaptability of the interior space to better serve evolving requirements. As the facility takes shape, it will stand as a testament to the organization's dedication to fostering dreams, instilling belief, and providing the necessary support for each individual to achieve their unique milestones.

Within this innovative space, Building Blocks Ministries aims to create an environment that goes beyond mere functionality. It aspires to be a nurturing haven where individuals can thrive, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-belief. The inclusion of spaces dedicated to skilled learning, creativity, and therapy reflects a holistic approach to personal development.

The mission of Building Blocks Ministries is deeply rooted in the vision of achieving full inclusion and participation of adults with developmental disabilities in every facet of the community. The Executive Director, Paula Whetro, succinctly articulates this vision, stating, "Our mission is to empower these adults to dream, believe in themselves, and engage in training designed to support individual achievements."
