Dollar Tree

Retail Building in Kissimmee

The brand identity, set forth by Dollar Tree led to the design of the new 10,000 SF retail space, located in the Boggy Creek district of Kissimmee, Florida.

Goals and Expectations

Powell Studio Architecture provided architectural and engineering design services to maximize the use of the square footage within the site’s constraints, meanwhile maintaining the distinctive appearance and style associated with Dollar Tree.

Results and Impact

Blending form and function, Dollar Tree at Boggy Creek met the design standards established by Dollar Tree, Inc (DLTR), maximizing the potential retail space within the specified site.

Design and Construction

The prototypical Dollar Tree front entry was designed as a separate lean-to structure, coordinated between the pre-engineered building manufacturer and the design team. The pre-engineered building was clad with brick veneer, EIFS, and banding to reflect the design standards of Dollar Tree’s corporate prototypical appearance. The primary construction of the building consisted of two (2) pre-engineered metal building structures married together to give the building form and shape.
