The South Lake Heart & Vascular Institute is an 18,500 SF cardiology center located on the South Lake Hospital campus in Clermont, Florida.
The design, at its core, should coexist in harmony with the existing urban fabric, yet speak to its function. Embrace views of the community as an internal experience, while being unique, modern yet traditional. Powerful in its purpose the
moment you enter through its doors. Materials and variation in design, should reflect the design concept metaphor. The
outer heart made with stone, strong and firm, integrates to the ribbed glazing middle core. The red, is a representation of heart’s internal core. The Institute was conceived to be extraordinary, it is only fitting that the design and construction follow suit.
